As I travel around the state for my campaign, I frequently ask people how many of them use state resources. Almost no one answers, which makes me think there are many ways we could save money.

I recognize and support the Convention of States, which many across the political spectrum—Democrats, Republicans, Independents, and Libertarians—believe may be necessary to address the current challenges in Santa Fe and Washington.

While my focus is on becoming the Governor of New Mexico, I am committed to ensuring our state and nation regains its fiscal responsibility. If elected, one of my top priorities will be to conduct a forensic audit of our state’s financial departments and non-governmental organizations (NGO’s). This audit will help identify and eliminate any instances of waste, fraud, or abuse of taxpayer dollars.
